Right to Work Checks – an end to adjusted checks

During the covid pandemic temporary changes were introduced to make compliant right to work checks easier for employers. These adjusted checks allowed for copies of documentation to be checked and verified remotely via video call.
What is changing?
After 30th September employers carrying out a manual right to work check must view and check original documents in the presence of the individual.
