Top tip for October… Develop yourself!

It’s easy to stay within our own comfort zones, after all it’s reassuring to know that we’re good at the things we know well. But there is a real danger that we can start to stagnate if we don’t try new things.

As employers we should be continually supporting our employees to develop themselves and take advantage of opportunities to learn something new. Encourage them to go on formal or informal training events, keep reading, open their minds to new experiences and seize every chance available to develop new skills.

Create opportunities for employees to spend time sharing their experiences and knowledge; we can always learn new things from each other.
